Coding agents
One plugin folder teaches Claude Code, Codex and ChatGPT how Opem works: the script tag and the npm packages, the Content-Security-Policy, identity signing in five languages, Markdoc documents and the sync API, webhooks and every error code. Install it once and ask your agent to add Opem to your app.
Claude Code
claude plugin marketplace add agile-4/opem-agent-plugin
claude plugin install opem@opemThe skills then appear as /opem:install, /opem:identify and so on.
Codex
codex plugin marketplace add agile-4/opem-agent-pluginThen run /plugins in Codex and install Opem; start a new session before using its skills.
ChatGPT
https://github.com/agile-4/opem-agent-pluginInstall Opem from the Plugins directory once it is listed there; until then a workspace admin can import this repository as a plugin marketplace.
What the plugin knows
Eight skills, each loaded when the conversation needs it. In Claude Code they run as /opem:install, /opem:identify and so on; Codex and ChatGPT load them when your request matches.
| Skill | What it helps with |
|---|---|
| onboard | Signing up, creating a project and finding your keys |
| install | The script tag, @opem/browser, @opem/react, Content-Security-Policy and allowed origins, and a check against the live /config endpoint |
| identify | Signing users' identities on your server, in Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP and Go |
| knowledge-sync | Syncing Markdoc documentation from your repository, from CI |
| webhooks | Verifying and handling Opem's webhook deliveries |
| customise | The window.Opem surface: kinds, theme, launcher, strings, your own button, events |
| troubleshoot | Every error code, rate limit and plan limit, from symptom to fix |
| reference | Background facts the other skills use: the management API, plans, limits, glossary |
What it sends
Nothing of its own. The plugin is instructions and small scripts that run on your machine. It holds no credentials, and the only calls it makes are the ones you ask for, to your own project: the install check against /api/v1/widget/config, and a documentation sync with the secret key from your own environment. You copy your keys from the dashboard into your environment file; never paste a secret key or verification secret into a chat.
The plugin is published at github.com/agile-4/opem-agent-plugin from Opem's main repository. Agents without the plugin can read /llms.txt, which lists these pages and the OpenAPI document.
